Italian champions Juventus are keeping close tabs on Atalanta centre-back Mattia Caldara, Tuttosport can reveal.
It is no secret that the Bianconeri are hot on the trail of Orobici midfielder Franck Kessie, but he is not the only reason why their scouts continue to attend Atalanta fixtures.
Tuttosport claims that Juventus officials have been impressed with talented defender Mattia Caldara, who has been in excellent form this season.
The 22-year-old not only helped Orobici keep six clean sheets in eight Serie A appearances, but he also netted three goals in the process, so no wonder his displays did not go unnoticed.
Caldara is already an important member of the Italy Under-21 side, while it is only a matter of time before he is handed a debut by Azzurri boss Giampiero Ventura.
But, having enjoyed the best start to a league campaign in recent years, chances are that Atalanta will not be prepared to listen to offers for key men in January.
