Atletico extends three players´ contracts

Europa League champions Atletico Madrid have agreed contract extensions with winger Jose Antonio Reyes, defender Tomas Ujfalusi and midfielder Paulo Assuncao, the Spanish club said on Friday.

Former Arsenal and Real Madrid player Reyes, 27, whose contract was due to expire in June 2011, agreed to an extension until 2014, it said in a statement.

Czech Ujfalusi, 32, and Brazilian Assuncao, 30, both extended their contracts with the club by two years until 2013.

The club gave no financial details for the new deals.
