Atletico linked with Juventus outcast Tiago

Atletico Madrid are the latest side to try and sign Juventus outcast Tiago Mendes, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Reports say that the 27 year old midfielder has already rejected moves to Everton, Newcastle, Porto and Tottenham in recent weeks.

Juventus looks desperate to offload the Portuguese midfielder in a bid to free up space for a new signing before the transfer window closes.

Tiago is not keen on a move back to his homeland either, with Porto interested in his services.

Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco weas left furious after Tiago rejected a move to Premiership side Everton last week.

Tiago joined the Italian giants for £13m from French side Lyon last year.

It is believed that Jorge Mendes, Tiago’s agent, is working hard to try and get Tiago to leave Juventus before the transfer window closes.
