Atletico Madrid 4/7 to beat Malaga in Saturday’s La Liga clash

Competition: La Liga

Market: Atletico Madrid to beat Malaga

Odds: 4/7 @ Bet365

La Liga continues this weekend for yet another massive round of games that will only bring more goals and moments of excitement. The league table has remained incredibly tight meaning that a win can quite often see a side rise a number of places, and with this in mind, Atletico Madrid travel to play Malaga on Saturday.

Malaga have been awful this season and they are in huge danger of being relegated to the second-division. After 22 games they have won three, drawn four and lost 15 times, while they have only managed to score 14 goals, whilst conceding 35 times. In their last five they have managed to draw twice, but they have lost their other three games, meaning they are on just 13 points. Malaga are in desperate need of a win as they are currently seven points short of Levante in 17th and safety, but they face incredibly tough opposition in the form of Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid have been in very good form this season, and they look like the most likely team to chase down Barcelona at the top. After 22 matches they have won 14, drawn seven and lost once, while they have scored 33 goals and conceded just nine times. In their last five they have won four games and lost once which has seen them onto 49 points. Atleti are currently nine points short of Barcelona at the top, and another wide would maintain the pressure on the leaders.
