Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement to sign Argentine striker Angel Correa from San Lorenzo, reports Marca.
The youngster has emerged as one of country’s hottest prospects in recent years and it appears he is already set for a big club move.
According to Marca, Atletico Madrid have an agreement in place with San Lorenzo for the purchase for Correa, although the deal has yet to be made official.
Angel Correa has come through the youth ranks at San Lorenzo and has already amassed a total of 44 league appearances, scoring 10 goals in the process.
The 19-year-old has nailed down a regular starting berth this season, catching the eye of Europe’s top clubs with his scintillating showings.
Correa has been dubbed ‘next Kun Aguero’ as his style of play and stature remind everyone of the former Atletico star, with the talented footballer tipped to make a similar impact at Vicente Calderon.
