It has been an emotional weekend for the Chinese side Tianjian Quanjian in the CLS.
Having made serious investments during the January transfer market, Fabio Cannavaro’s side are having high hopes in the Chinese Super League this season. Canavaro’s men kicked off the new season with a 2-0 defeat at Guangzhou R&F, whereas they drew 1-1 at Shanghai Shenhua at the weekend.
The game marked a historic moment for Tianjin Quanjian, as they scored their first-ever goal in the top-flight courtesy of the January signing Axel Witsel.
