AZ Alkmaar maintained their winning streak in the Dutch league, beating Willem II 3-1 on Saturday.

Said Boutahar gave Willem II a 0-1 lead on 18 minutes but Moussa Dembele equalised just seven minutes later.

Belgian Maarten Martens then made it 2-1 just before the break and striker Mounir El Hamdaoui netted the third and final goal on 62 minutes.

AZ’s lead over second-placed Twente now stands at 12 points, though the Enschede outfit may bring the gap back to nine when they visit De Graafschap on Sunday.
