There were no major surprises in Tuesday’s Dutch Cup fixtures, as both AZ Alkmaar and PSV Eindhoven made it through to the next round.

AZ Alkmaar hosted Heracles Almelo at the Alkmaarderhout and beat their visitors 3-0 with goals from Hector Moreno, Mounir El Hamdaoui and Graziano Pellè.

PSV played a very unusual match against its own youth team, and although the defending league champions were the away team, they got to play at their own Philips Stadium as a consequence.

As was expected, PSV took the win without trashing their youth team. Wuytens scored in the first half, and striker Danko Lazovic added two goals in the second to make it 0-3.
