Former Italy striker Roberto Baggio could take his first steps into football management with Serie B side Modena.
The Azzurri legend has been awarded his Category 2 coaching qualification, which will allow him to legally train at a professional football club.
The 45-year-old is being touted as a target for Modena, with Baggio’s agent Antonio Caliendo confirming the link.
“As soon as I heard about Roberto’s promotion I immediately thought of him; we will discuss this option next week,” Il Corriere dello Sport quoted the agent.
“Roby is the largest character, one cannot forget him. It would be a nice way to relaunch his name worldwide.”
Baggio scored 27 goals in 56 appearances for his country over a 16-year spell. He played his club football at Fiorentina, Juventus, AC Milan and Inter among others.
