Former Roma striker Abel Balbo does not believe the Giallorossi should axe coach Luciano Spalletti.
Roma have had a poor start to the season and have suffered four consecutive defeats, but Balbo does not believe sacking Spalletti will solve their problems.
“To come out of the crisis Roma needs to re-find the group and stick together by becoming more compact,” Balbo told Romanews.eu.
“Now is the right time to restart in the league and they have to play and think like a provincial team ready to fight.
“Everyone needs to put aside their own objectives and think about the team. I don’t think the January transfer window would be an answer either.”
“It wouldn’t be right, Spalletti is the coach and he has shown his capabilities as well as bring results,” added Balbo on Spalletti.
“[Carlo] Mazzone could help the club by giving his input as he is a Roman and he knows the team well. I have found myself in this situation as well and everyone just needs to be more compact.”
