Barca and City battle for Bravo

Real Sociedad goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has been the subject of interest from Barcelona and Manchester City, reports Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo.

The experienced keeper has been performing at a very high level for several years now, but this is the first time he is being linked with Europe’s top sides.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Bravo’s name is on the list of possible replacements for Victor Valdes, who is set to quit Barca at the end of the current campaign.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are also showing interest as they are slowly losing patience with Joe Hart, but it remains to be seen if either side will be making a move in January.

Claudio Bravo has a contract until June 2017 at Anoeta and a €30 million release clause inserted in his deal.

Real Sociedad have kick-started their season following a slow start and having climbed to sixth in La Liga, they can be backed at 7/1 to achieve a top 4 finish.
