Barca join race for Guerreiro

Catalan daily newspaper Sport is reporting that Spanish giants Barcelona are hot on the trail of Lorient full-back Raphael Guerreiro.

The Portuguese winger has emerged as one of the hottest commodities in French Ligue 1, and he is widely expected to join a top club this summer.

And while the German media claims Borussia Dortmund are close to reaching an agreement with his employers, Sport says that Barcelona and Real Madrid are in the mix as well.

The Catalans have been impressed with the 22-year-old footballer and already held a meeting with his official representatives.

Guerreiro is capable of operating at both left back and left wing, and he is set to represent Portugal at the Euro 2016 finals in France.

The Selecao kick off their campaign with the game against minnows Iceland and they can be backed at 8/13 to start the competition with a win.
