Barca to make a move on Griezmann

Catalan media outlet El Mundo Deportivo understands that Barcelona are planning a summer assault on Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.

Ernesto Valverde seems determined to bring the Frenchman to Camp Nou at the end of the season, and the club officials agree the 26-year-old would be an excellent addition to the squad.

In case they succeed in their quest, Barcelona would switch to 4-2-3-1 formation, with Messi, Griezmann and Dembele playing behind Luis Suarez.

The good news is that the forward’s release clause will decrease from €200m to €100m on 1st July, and chances are the Catalans will take advantage of the opportunity to sign the Frenchman.

Griezmann has enjoyed three very successful seasons with Atletico Madrid, bagging 62 goals in 116 La Liga outings.
