Barca yet to receive serious offer for Song

Barcelona have not received any proposals worth considering for midfielder Alex Song, according to El Mundo Deportivo.

The Cameroon star is likely to be offloaded this summer as new boss Luis Enrique prefers Sergio Busquets and Javier Mascherano, and he has so far been linked with quite a few top sides.

Manchester United, Napoli, Inter Milan, Chelsea and Marseille have all been credited with an interest, but they have yet to make serious moves.

Barcelona officials are eager to offload the experienced footballer in the summer transfer window and they will consider proposals in the region of €15 million.

Alex Song joined the Catalans in a €19 million deal from Arsenal two years ago, but has not been able to nail down a regular starting berth at Camp Nou.

The 26-year-old went on to make a total of 39 La Liga appearances, while also featuring in 12 Champions League fixtures.
