Barcelona lock horns with fellow La Liga side Sevilla in the European Super Cup tonight, with the Catalans having won the Champions League to make it to the final, while Sevilla retained the Europa League. As a result, the two sides face off for pre-season trophy, and Barcelona are unsurprisingly favourites to come out on top.

Claiming the treble last season (La Liga, Champions League, Copa Del Rey), Barcelona are expected to add the European Super Cup to their growing haul of trophies, but are sure to be met with some resistance by their opponents.

Sevilla somewhat have a point to prove after losing two key players this summer, and picked up a draw in their last meeting against the Catalan giants, so they could well fancy their chances of taking the game the distance. They finished 5th in the league table, and will make life difficult for Barca.
