According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are still confident that they can eventually secure a deal for Adrien Rabiot. The Frenchman is a wanted man with a series of major European clubs being interested in acquiring his services, with the Spanish giants being one of them.

Rabiot’s contract is set to expire next summer, and when that happens, Barca are said to think that £45 million will be enough to land his signature. A lot of this would depend on whether or not the club clears out some of the midfielders they’ve already got, with Ivan Rakitic ironically being linked with a move to PSG. It doesn’t seem like a swap deal would be likely, though, especially given the value of both players.

At the age of 23 Rabiot is one of the most promising young midfielders in Europe, and both Barca & PSG will see him as integral parts of what they’re trying to achieve.
