Barcelona in shock move for Klose

German newspaper Bild claims Barcelona are pondering move for Lazio striker Miroslav Klose.

New Catalans boss Tito Vilanova is identifying his summer targets and he is thought to be looking for an experienced striker to add to the squad.

Bild understands that the Catalans boss is interested in signing Lazio forward Miroslav Klose.

The 34-year-old striker only joined Lazio last summer on a free transfer from Bayern Munich, but he could be interested in leaving Olimpico after the match-fixing scandal that rocked Italian Serie A.

Klose has two more years left on his deal with the Biancocelesti, but the veteran striker should, nonetheless, be available at a cut-back price in the summer.

Barcelona tried to bring the Germany international to Camp Nou in 2007, but he eventually opted for Bayern.

Klose has been in fine form during his first season in Italy, scoring 12 goals in 27 Serie A games.
