La Liga champions Barcelona are weighing up a summer bid for Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez, Sport has suggested.
The Catalans have been eager to reinforce the attacking department as they lack cover for the likes of Messi, Suarez and Neymar, and both Kevin Gameiro and Luciano Vietto were on their radar.
However, with the two players set to join Atletico Madrid and Sevilla respectively, Barcelona are forced to explore other options.
With that in mind, Catalan media outlet Sport has learned that the Spanish giants have turned their attention towards Deportivo La Coruna forward Lucas Perez, who is coming off a very successful season.
The 27-year-old impressed to score 17 goals in 36 La Liga outings for the Galician outfit last term and he has clearly done enough to catch the eye of Barcelona scouts.
And with his release clause standing at €20 million, there is a good chance Lucas Perez will be moving to Camp Nou in the coming weeks.
