Barcelona to loan out Croatian starlet

El Mundo Deportivo has learned that Barcelona may be ready to loan out talented midfielder Alen Halilovic in January.

One of Europe’s hottest prospects joined the Catalans this summer from Dinamo Zagreb and he is currently playing for the B squad in Spain’s second division.

Several high-profile sides, including Fiorentina and Sampdoria, have attempted to sign the player on loan in the summer transfer window, but Barcelona rejected the proposals.

Nevertheless, El Mundo Deportivo understands that the club officials are ready to consider allowing the youngster to leave on loan in the winter transfer window.

Prior to moving to Camp Nou, Halilovic had made 44 league appearances for Dinamo Zagreb and scored 7 goals, while also earning five Croatia caps.

He has done fairly well playing for Barcelona B this term, starting four league matches while making another two substitute appearances.

Halilovic is predicted a bright future in the game, but regular playing time is very important for his development.
