Celta Vigo have secured the services of Barcelona midfielder Rafinha on a season-long loan deal.
Vigo boss Luis Enrique has returned to Barcelona’s B team, which he has previously managed, for the 20-year-old, who also recently signed a new four-year deal at Camp Nou.
Rafinha made 36 appearances for Barca B in the Segunda Division last season, scoring 10 goals and also featured once for the senior team in the UEFA Champions League.
He follows Andreu Fontas in making the switch from Catalunya to Galicia after the defender joined on a three-year deal for €1million last month.
Speaking at his presentation, Rafinha said: “This is an emotional day for me.
“I have always been fan of this club, I have family in Vigo and I know the coach so this was the best decision.”
Rafinha is the second member of his family to leave Barca this week after his older brother Thiago Alcantara moved to Bayern Munich in a €25m deal, linking up with former boss Pep Guardiola.
