Spanish rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid are said to be ready to get into a bidding war for the Liverpool star player Sadio Mane.

Barcelona are once again linked with Liverpool, but not for Philippe Coutinho as the Catalans reportedly now set their sights on the fast-paced Senegalese. Real Madrid are said to be in the race as well with Zinedine Zidane keen to add more velocity to his squad.

Liverpool star made a brilliant start to the new season. He scored in his first three Premier League matches but was reckless to receive a red card after a terrifying studs-up challenge on Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes, which got him a three-match ban.

After a stressful summer for Jurgen Klopp, the Anfield based club could face a fresh series of attacks for another one of their top footballers.

Mane joined Liverpool from Southampton in a €41 million deal and went on to quickly establish himself as a key figure for the Reds.

The 25-year-old scored 13 goals in 27 Premier League appearances for Reds last season even though he was ruled out for the good part of the campaign with an injury.
