Barcelona to return for David Luiz

Barcelona are set to launch a fresh assault on Chelsea defender David Luiz, according to Catalan newspaper Sport.

The Catalans had made the Brazilian one of their primary targets in the summer, but they eventually failed to reach an agreement with the Blues.

And even with Jose Mourinho still reluctant to sell Luiz to Barcelona, the player’s desire to move to Camp Nou could persuade the club chiefs to let him leave.

With Luiz losing his place in the side at Stamford Bridge and the Catalans constantly showing interest in his services, it appears he has decided to try and engineer a move to Spain.

The 26-year-old has fallen behind John Terry and Gart Cahill in the pecking order and only managed 5 Premier League appearances this term.

Meanwhile, Chelsea slipped further behind leaders Arsenal after losing to Stoke and are now priced at 7/2 to lift the Premier League title.

Will never happen, Chelsea fc have already said he is our captain in the future, despite Jose being manager. However with both Terry, and Cahill making mistakes its more likely one of those players will be dropped or sold. I really hope its JT as a massive Chelsea fan i appreciate everything he has done for us, but he is to slow and injury prone. We need to bring Chalobah back as JT’S replacement.
