Barcelona set to sign Clement Lenglet

Cadena Cope is reporting that Barcelona have all but agreed a deal to sign Clement Lenglet from Sevilla.

The Catalans are set to trigger the player’s €35 million release clause, meaning los Rojiblancos will have no say in the transfer.

According to reports, the Frenchman has already agreed a five-year contract with Barcelona, and he will soon become their first signing ahead of the new season.

Clement Lenglet, 22, has been in fine form ever since he joined Sevilla from Nancy, going on to make 52 league appearances, scoring 3 goals.

Barcelona sporting department see the Frenchman as an excellent prospect and he is lined up to form a centre-back pairing with compatriot Samuel Umtiti in the near future.
