Barcelona to bid for Santos wonderkid duo

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has started secret negotiations with Santos representatives with a view to making a bid for Neymar and Ganso.

Both players have a long list of suitors which include Real Madrid, Milan, Chelsea and Manchester City among others, but they are thought to be close to securing a switch to Barca.

The Catalans want to beat the rivals to Neymar’s signature and will try to close the deal as soon as possible.

As far as Ganso is concerned, Barca intend to exercise the first option clause they have agreed with Santos few months ago, meaning the Catalans could easily bring the Santos duo to Camp Nou in the near future.

While Neymar is widely considered the hottest prospect in world football today, Paulo Henrique Chagas de Lima, commonly known as Ganso, has also enjoyed a meteoric rise over the last two years and has recently earned his first Brazil cap.
