Barcelona watching Ferran Torres

El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Valencia youngster Ferran Torres.

The Catalans have sent scout Arseni Comas to the Under-17 World Cup in India and one of his main tasks is to make a check on the los Che starlet.

Barcelona have been hot on the trail of Ferran Torres for quite some time and they are weighing up matching his €8 million release clause.

Despite his fragile age, the 17-year-old has already made 8 league appearances for Valencia’s reserve side that compete in Segunda B.

The right winger is widely regarded as one of the country’s hottest prospects and he started both games at the aforementioned tournament in India.
