Barcelona willing to listen to offers for Song

Barcelona are ready to listen to offers for Alex Song with Manchester United waiting in the wings, TalkSport understands.

The Cameroon international has failed to hold down a regular first team place with the Catalan giants, making just twenty-six league starts since signing from Arsenal in the summer of 2012.

United manager David Moyes is set for a busy summer in the transfer market, with midfield one of the many areas of the field set be concentrated on, though they are set to face competition for the 26 year old from Napoli, who have also been linked with a move.

Last night’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford ended in defeat for the champions, leaving them twelve points off a Champions League qualification place.

Their best chance of being involved in Europe’s premier competition next season is by winning the trophy this time around, though they are the 34.0 (33/1) outsiders of the eight quarter finalists.
