Barcelona star Lionel Messi, 20, has been given the go-ahead to represent Argentina in this summer’s Olympic Games.
Argentina are the reigning champions after winning the gold-medal in Athens 2004, and are looking to defend their title Beijing.
“I have everything arranged for playing in the Olympic Games. I would like to have that chance so I can celebrate what I couldn’t celebrate with Barcelona.” , Messi stated.
