Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are keeping close tabs on Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, according to Sport Bild.
The Bavarians will stay without Claudio Pizarro at the end of the season and they need to sign a new back-up for Robert Lewandowski.
Sport Bild has suggested that Atletico Madrid hotshot Antoine Griezmann is one of the first names on their hit-list.
The Frenchman didn’t need long to prove his worth at Vicente Calderon having joined in the summer from Real Sociedad, and he has developed into one of Europe’s hottest forwards.
Griezmann scored impressive 18 goals in 30 La Liga appearances this term, while bagging another two in the Champions League.
And with his contract running until June 2020, chances are Atletico will not be interested in selling him at the end of the season.
However, that does not mean that Bayern Munich are ready to give up on his signature, even if they might not be able to get their man in the summer.
