Bayern Munich join Julian Draxler chase

German international playmaker has found his playing time at Paris Saint-Germain significantly limited with the summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The 24-year-old midfielder has been used sporadically and mainly as a substitute thus far and is believed to be looking for a way out of the club in the January transfer market.

Draxler is aware that lack of playing time could affect his chances of making it into Germany’s World Cup squad and is planning to leave Paris this winter with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich leading the chase for former Wolfsburg and Schalke man.

La Liga champions are said to be exploring a £30 million offer for Draxler but the Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo is suggesting that German champions Bayern Munich are also keen on Draxler.

The Bavarians have suffered a comprehensive 3-0 defeat at the hands of PSG on Wednesday night. Julian Draxler was allowed a single minute on the pitch, coming on as a late substitute to replace Marco Verratti.

Bayern travel to Hertha Berlin on Saturday and can be backed at 2/5 to get back to winning ways at the Olympiastadion.
