Kingsley Coman will miss two months of action after Bayern Munich confirmed he has torn a ligament in his left knee and suffered a capsule fracture in the left ankle.
The winger sustained the injuries during a training session while on international duty for France ahead of a World Cup qualifier against Sweden and a friendly with Ivory Coast.
France confirmed on Thursday that Coman had left the squad, with Bayern’s test revealing the full extent of his injuries.

Coman, on loan at Bayern from Juventus, has made six Bundesliga appearances so far in 2016-17, but is set to be out until after the mid-season break.
There was better news on midfielder Javi Martinez, however, with Bayern confirming he would return to training next week.
Having struggled with muscular problems, Martinez is ahead of schedule and could be in line to make his return in Der Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund on November 19.
