Mattheus Oliveira, the son of ex-Brazil international Bebeto, is poised for a move to Serie A leaders Juventus.

Oliveira, the subject of Bebeto’s famous cradle celebration after scoring against Netherlands in the 1994 World Cup, is currently at Brazilian side Flamengo.

Although he is short of senior experience, Oliveira is highly rated and expected to follow in his father’s footsteps.

And reports in Italy are suggesting that Juventus are preparing a five-year deal with just a few details still to be sorted.

The 18-year-old playmaker would be joining an array of creative talent at the reigning champions who look set to retain their title when they face relegation-threatened Palermo on Sunday.

“Everything is going okay,” Oliveira’s agent Vantuil Rodrigues told Lancenet.

“The last details have been agreed. Only some paperwork is needed to make the negotiations official, the fee and the contract length have been agreed.

“The paperwork should arrive any day now and, when that happens, Mattheus will travel to Italy to undergo a medical.”
