Paris Saint-Germain midfielder David Beckham is excited at the prospect of featuring in Sunday’s clash against Marseille.

The 37-year-old, who arrived at Parc des Princes on transfer deadline day in January, is on course to make his debut after being named in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the Ligue 1 encounter.

While the former Real Madrid and Manchester United man is expected to begin the derby on the bench, he is excited by the experience of immersing himself in another rivalry.

“I have played in a lot of big matches in my career, the likes of AC Milan-Inter, Real Madrid-Barcelona and (Los Angeles) Galaxy-Chivas,” Beckham told reporters.

“For me, it’s very exciting to discover and be part of a new rivalry.”
