Former England captain David Beckham will arrive in Milan on Saturday to be officially unveiled as an AC Milan player.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder is joining on loan from his current club Los Angeles Galaxy and will stay at the San Siro until the end of March.

Beckham will be presented to fans at 19.00 local time ahead of Milan’s home match against Udinese.

It is believed that Beckham will be accompanied by his wife, the former Spice Girl Victoria, and he will visit the club’s training facilities and undergo a medical.

Beckham is due to leave Milan on Monday but return a week later on the 29th so that he can fly out with the squad to Dubai for their winter training camp.

He will be available for selection once the Serie A season starts up again on January 10 following the winter break that begins on Monday.

Italian press reports claim the Beckhams will stay in a hotel in the Lombardy countryside, well away from the centre of Milan, during the 33-year-old’s loan period.
