(GSM) – Barcelona has one of the strongest squads in European football but sports director Txiki Begiristain has admitted he would like to avoid Manchester United in today’s Champions League quarterfinals draw.
Barca and United enter the draw as the two top favourites to win Europe’s premier club competition.
“Right now, all rivals are very strong, but I personally would prefer to avoid Manchester United,” admitted Begiristain. “I’d like to meet our greatest rivals like at the end of last season.”
He added: “I’m not afraid to face teams like Arsenal and Manchester United, it would be great entertainment.”
