Anderlecht ensured they remain four points clear at the top of the Belgian First Division table after they defeated Beerschot 4-1 on Saturday.
Beerschot took a surprise lead in the 12th minute through Conor Laerenbergh but from there it was all Anderlecht, with goals to Massimo Bruno and Dieumerci Mbokani putting the away side ahead at half-time.
A 58th-minute penalty from Guillaume Gillet and an Oleksandr Iakovenko strike after 79 minutes sealed the win.
Second-placed Zulte-Waregem ensured they kept pace with Anderlecht thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win over Gent away from home, with Ivan Lendri’s 65th-minute strike enough to see his side over the line.
Ibrahima Gueye scored a late winner for third-placed Lokeren as they stayed level with Zulte-Waregem after defeating Mons 2-1 away from home.
Mons went ahead through Jeremy Perbet after half an hour before Koen Persoons levelled the scores on the stroke of half-time.
The game looked to be heading towards a draw before Gueye popped up at the death to steal victory.
Elsewhere, bottom side Cercle Brugge were brushed aside by Kortrijk 3-1 while Waasland-Beveren got past Mechelen 1-0.
