Competition: World Cup
Market: Belgium to qualify from the last 16
Odds: 10/21 @ 888 Sport

With a place in the World Cup quarter-final at stake, Belgium’s clash against the USA promises to be a cagey affair. The Americans have surprised the majority this summer after finishing runners-up in a group that featured the likes of Germany, Ghana and Portugal, but they’re not here to make up the numbers. USA have shown they should be respected and taken seriously tonight.

Belgium are the favourites for victory, however, and possess far more of a strong lineup to that of their opponents. The Rode Duivels had Romelu Lukaku, Eden Hazard, Axel Witsel and Kevin De Bruyne on the bench in their last game – a 1-0 win against South Korea in Group H.

As a result, Belgium are being backed by 888 Sport with odds of 10/21 to get the win against USA which includes extra time & penalties should the game make it that far.

With Belgium able to drop so many big-name players in their last game and still win gives a glimpse of the task at hand for the USA to get a result against them. But the USA do have players who can pose somewhat of a threat to Marc Wilmots’ side too. Forward Clint Dempsey has shone for his country with two goals in the tournament, while combative midfielder Jermaine Jones has scored one and made another so far.
