Bellerin to be offered new Arsenal deal

Arsenal are set to offer Hector Bellerin a new five year deal to fend off interest from Barcelona and Manchester City, according to the Mirror.

The club are keen to retain the defender’s services and will begin negotiations after the international break.

The twenty-one year old, who has emerged into one of the best players in his position in Europe, has three years remaining on his current deal.

Aside from a brief loan spell with Watford in the 2013/14 campaign the Spain international has spent his entire playing career so far with the Gunners, racking up eighty positions in all competitions, scoring three goals and was part of the squad that won the FA Cup in 2015.

Having been capped at every international level from U16 to U21 he made his senior debut earlier this year and was part of the squad that attended the European Championships in the summer.
