Ben Arfa could stay at PSG after all

French media outlet L’Equipe claims that Hatem Ben Arfa appears ready to stay and fight for his place at Parc des Princes.

The 29-year-old last featured in a competitive match on 9 September as he failed to make the matchday squad for last four fixtures.

However, L’Equipe has learned that coach Unai Emery has been satisfied with the forward’s behaviour over the last couple of weeks and he is ready to integrate him back into the side.

The Spanish coach was prepared to give Ben Arfa some much needed playing time in the midweek fixture against Ludogorets, but a minor injury sustained in training denied the player a chance to impress.

Nevertheless, the fact that Ben Arfa did not complain about being dropped has impressed Unai Emery and he is now ready to give forward a new chance to prove his worth and show that he deserves a place in the starting line-up.
