The rumor’s began, when the Young Dane was spotted in the Italian Capital.
The Arsenal striker had made a paid visit to the Roman city, fueling rumors that he could join the Giallorossi.
However, Roma coach Luciano Spalletti’s admission that he was tracking a young striker in either Italy or England, left no choice for Thomas Bendtner, who also acts as Nicklas’ advisor, to have dismissed such speculative talks.
Bendtner Sr. also claimed that the trip to Rome was simply a pre-arranged holiday.
“There is absolutely nothing to the rumour about Roma,” he told Sporten.dk.
“Nicklas is happy at Arsenal, and the trip to Rome has been planned for a long time, just like his other summer plans.”
