Portuguese giants Benfica are set to rekindle their interest in FK Partizan Belgrade winger Andrija Zivkovic, according to A Bola.

The Eagles attempted to recruit the Under-20 World Cup star this summer, but were unable to reach an agreement with his employers.

However, with the youngster’s contract due to expire at the end of the season, Benfica aim to reignite their interest in the January window.

Andrija Zivkovic is widely regarded as one of Serbia’s hottest prospects and he has already made three appearances for the senior national team.

Meanwhile, the 19-year-old bagged 13 goals in 56 league appearances for FK Partizan Belgrade, quickly developing into a key player for the Serbian champions.

Zivkovic’s form has dropped over the last few weeks, but due to his amazing potential, the winger remains a target not only for Benfica, but also for European powerhouses Chelsea and Valencia, according to the latest reports.
