Benfica’s Rodrigo could join Valencia

Super Deporte is reporting that Benfica stars Rodrigo Moreno and Andre Gomes could be joining Valencia at the end of the season.

The two players were acquired by Meriton Capital Limited, owned by Singapore businessman Peter Lim, who is reportedly hoping to become the new owner of Valencia.

And if the transaction goes through, chances are that both Rodrigo and Andre Gomes will be added to the ranks at Mestalla in the summer transfer window.

The two players are set to finish the season at Benfica, but everything suggests they will be leaving the club in the summer.

Rodrigo Moreno, 23, is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most talented forwards, and he has scored 9 goals in 23 league outings for the Eagles this season.

Meanwhile, his teammate Andre Gomes has mostly featured for the B side this season, but he is, nonetheless, held in high regard by top European clubs.
