Liverpool conceded more ground in the title race last night, drawing 1-1 with Wigan Athletic: the result has seen the Anfield giants slip to third in the Premier League, two points behind leaders Manchester United.

Yesterday Mido’s late penalty cancelled out Yossi Benayoun’s opener: “I don’t know what is happening. Actually I do know, but I can’t say anything about it. It is just crazy,” he told the press after the Wigan game. “You can’t control what you can’t change. It could be like this for years. The past three games have something in common I don’t like”.
