Turkish giants Besiktas are weighing up January bid for Benfica flop Rafa Silva, according to O Jogo.

The Black Eagles are looking to build on an impressive start to the season that saw them win their Champions League group and mount a serious title challenge in Super Lig.

With former Benfica hotshot Talisca being linked with a January move to China, Besiktas could replace him with yet another player from Estadio da Luz.

Namely, the Black Eagles hope to sign Rafa Silva on loan until the end of the season and they shouldn’t have too many problems agreeing a deal.

The 24-year-old only made five league appearances for Benfica this season and he utterly failed to prove his worth since joining from Sporting Braga 18 months ago.
