Real Betis are weighing up a move for Barcelona hotshot Martin Montoya, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
Los Verdeblancos are enjoying one of the most successful seasons in club’s recent history and they are eager to continue the latest uptrend in fortunes.
They are already thinking about summer reinforcements, and have made Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya one of their top targets.
Real Betis have long ago shown their interest in the talented footballer and they are now expected to open talks over a summer move to Estadio Benito Villamarin.
Montoya, 21, has seen little playing time at Camp Nou due to Dani Alves and Adriano Correia being in front of him in the pecking order, and he would probably jump at the opportunity to join Real Betis.
He has made just 9 La Liga appearances this season, although he did feature in 5 Copa del Rey matches and 2 Champions League fixtures.
