Bilic keen for Lanzini to stay

The Mail Online understands that West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic wants to sign Manuel Lanzini on a permanent deal.

The twenty-two year old moved to Upton Park on loan from United Arab Emirates side Al Jazira Club in the summer and has since played eleven times in all competitions, scoring three goals.

A number of sides are expected to come in for the Argentina U20 international when the transfer window reopens and Bilic is keen to win the race to secure his services.

Prior to his move the UAE Lanzini spent four years with River Plate though he did spend a year on loan at Brazilian side Fluminense.

West Ham saw their seven game unbeaten run in the league end at the weekend as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Watford.

They now sit fifth in the league and can be backed at 11/2 to finish the season in the top six.
