Birmingham City’s co – owner David Sullivan has spoken out after his arrest regarding the police’s probe into corruption in football.

Earlier this month, both he and the clubÂ’s managing director Karren Brady were arrested, questioned and released on bail.

Sullivan also claimed that while he was being questioned at the police station his house was turned upside down as they searched his home for corroborating evidence. He added that he felt that it was an invasion on his privacy and something that was totally unnecessary. He also went on to say that he was happy to make a contribution to the probe, but was unhappy with the way in which he had been treated.

The police, on the other hand, have stated that the incident, as well as their arrests, was all part of their investigation into corruption in the game. They also felt that they were disappointed that the incidents had been made public
