Birmingham boss Alex McLeish is set to make a double raid on Scottish champions Rangers for duo Steven Davis and Kris Boyd.
Rangers are set to offload a number of players in January after it was revealed that the Glasgow side are in financial trouble, with debts rumoured to be around £30 million.
Davis began his career in Birmingham with Aston Villa and McLeish hopes he can entice the former Northern Ireland captain to return with a bid aroud £3 million.
Kris Boyd has been heavily linked with a move to various Premier League clubs with the striker out of contract next summer, and McLeish is likely to recieve a cut price for the striker should he move in January.
