Birmingham looking to secure the signing of Hoffenheim striker Vedad Ibisevic after Alex McLeish has recieved funds to spend in the January transfer window.
The Bosnian international has been linked with several top European clubs in recent times, but after owner Carson Yeung pledged millions into transfer funds, McLeish beieves he can attract the Bosnian international with Premiership football.
However, Hoffenheim remain ambitious and still hope to secure the Bundesliga title in the next few years and are unlikely to let their star striker leave unless an offer they can’t refuse comes in.
Ibisevic set the Bundesliga on fire last year scoring 18 goals in 17 games before he was ruled out with injury for the rest of the season, and has scored 5 goals in 11 games so far this season.
