Blackpool not answering Liverpool’s calls

Thomas Ince’s move to Liverpool has been put on hold since the January transfer window opened because Blackpool are failing to take Brendan Rodgers’ calls, that’s according to Mirror Football.

It seems as though the English Championship side’s chairman, Karl Oyston, is doing all he can to keep Ince at Bloomfield Road and is not picking up the phone.

Rodgers came into this January transfer window believing that the deal for Ince was all but done and that he could secure his services in the first week of the month.

That hasn’t been the case though and the Reds are working extremely hard to get this £7 million move done.

Of course, Blackpool don’t want to lose their star man and are trying every trick in the book to keep him at the club until the summer window at least.

Eventually though, Oyston will have to pick up the phone and he might find Liverpool’s bid is too good to turn down. Ince doesn’t seem to be all that bothered by the situation and is concentrating on his football.

Blackpool have kept the English Premier League outfit out for two weeks of the month so far, but can they last until the end of the month?

We shall see.
