Blind future at Old Trafford unclear

The Mirror understand that Daley Blind is closing in on a new contract with Manchester United.

However despite the proposed new deal, the Netherlands international feels he could still be moved on with speculation that the Red Devils will exercise their ability to renew terms in order to recoup money for him in the transfer market.

Blind moved to Old Trafford in the summer of 2014 and has played for the club in a number of positions.

He has frequently been used on the left of the field though Ashley Young currently occupies that spot and is in sensational form.

Since signing from Ajax Blind has played one hundred and thirty-five appearances in all competitions, scoring six times and has won the FA Cup, EFL Cup and Europa League.

However, he has made just four league appearances so far this season and hasn’t featured since the 1-0 win at Southampton back in September.
